What is your GOOD IDEA?:

To start a painting business focusing on high quality interior (and possibly in the future exterior) finishings.

How would your idea make you COME ALIVE? 

I am a very detail oriented, passionate, and trustworthy individual. Painting has become the perfect conduit for me to express these things about myself in a very practical and fulfilling way

How will your IDEA impact our community?:

All communities needs more female owned/run businesses, but especially in a trade that is heavily dominated by men. I believe this business could set an example for any women who desire to follow their dreams but may be apprehensive because of the apparent disparity of tradeswomen.

What stage is your idea in RIGHT NOW?:

The idea is fairly premature. I have been able to do a couple jobs (my father runs a contracting business which provided some leads) however, I have yet to set up the LLC, insurance, or a bank account. I do have general tools, but still need a few more basic tools to really get going.

How can we (the audience) get involved or support?:

Eventually business leads 🙂

Will $500 make a significant impact on what you need to make this happen?:

I would use it to pay for the LLC, the bank deposit, and a portion would help me buy a professional paint sprayer. Phase one: establish the company (LLC, insurance, bank account, possibly accountant)
